Working together to enable everyone in Nottinghamshire to live healthier and happier lives, to prosper in their communities and remain independent in later life.

The Health and Wellbeing Board is a statutory body that has been working since 2012 and brings together local leaders in health and care in Nottinghamshire to improve people’s health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities in our communities.

The Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy for 2022 – 2026 [PDF] outlines how exactly the board plans to enable everyone in Nottinghamshire to live healthier and happier lives, to prosper in their communities and remain independent in later life.

Introduction from our Chair, Cllr John Doddy

Health and Wellbeing in Nottinghamshire

Our Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) analyses current and future health and care needs of our local community and determines what actions local authorities, the NHS and other partners need to take to meet these needs and improve people’s health and wellbeing in Nottinghamshire. The JSNA looks at many different topics and is available on the Nottinghamshire Insight Website.
